I always feel the need to talk about fatherhood on this site as fathering is so important that we can’t miss out. A father can help nurture kids in many ways, like doing sports/games together with family to foster a child’s development and learning.

Here’s an example:
Andy, a dad to two great little boys (ages 6 yrs. and 10 months) emailed me that he has a tremendously creative idea to turn cardboard boxes into fun projects with kids. He also offers free plans on his own site - Mr. McGroovy’s Box Rivets for building various projects out of refrigerator boxes, like fire engines, castles and pirate ships……You might be inspired to have some more ideas of constructing smaller projects to entertain the whole family during long weekends or holidays. Mm….. it could be a toy car, a toy house for your kid’s teddy bear…..What do you think? Any other ideas?
