One of my favorite TV shows is on cooking. My daughter and I love Jamie Oliver’s cooking shows very much. Every time when I watch the cooking shows, I’d really like to use the recipes and cook for my family, especially to please my picky eater (shhh… my daughter.) However I’ve always got trouble writing down the ingredients and all the things I need to buy while watching the shows. I can copy and paste the recipes from the internet of course. But here comes a problem. What I plan to buy sometimes is hard to find from seasons to seasons, and most of the time, they are not offered at good prices when I want them.

This morning I stumbled over the site, PodGourment, an iPod based gourment food database which offers 260 select recipes. I’m curious enough to try this software. I think I can download those recipes on my iPod and bring along with it to supermarkets, targeting the on-sale items and then search my favorite dishes. Mm, Sounds great. What do you think of this idea?
