I was amazed by a short article in which Eric counts many blessings of having a newborn baby in home. Some of the words I especially like:

• Homeless people quickly learn not to sift through your trash anymore.

• All your problems disappear as you come to the realization that there’s no time to deal with them, nor a soul anywhere in the world who cares.

• Takes all the wonder out of “What’s for Dinner?”. Nothing.

• Tolerance develops for loud, piercing shrills.

• No longer is your life run by the clock. Night is day, day is night and you’re not sleeping anyway.

• Social Obligations no longer obligatory. Baby = Get Out of Anything Free card.

Would you agree with him?
