		<description>I enjoyed reading this article;I am a surviving cutter. I am now healthy because someone in my life cared enough to ask the questions and was ok with not being my favorite person until I could see that I was unhealthy. I believe that is the most important thing as a parent is to be a parent; not worrying if your child may not think of you as the most popular person. It is crucial to pay attention and trust your instincts if you feel like something is wrong you should follow it threw to get the honest answers. Also it is helpful for the one who is suffering with the issue to feel loved and not judged I didn't understand why I was so sad and hurt but I didn't want to talk to anyone I felt they wouldn't understand and so I started to stuff the feelings and then that is when the cutting began;as soon as i discovered that the person asking the questions and calling me out on my behaviors was there because they truly loved me I then began to talk and started the process of healing .
