10 Healthy Foods for Finicky Toddlers

Parents of toddlers are always stressed out when finding healthy foods to feed their picky eaters. Barbara Solomon experienced the same when she wanted to feed her 3 year old daughter. At last she found 10 smart choices of toddler favorite foods that even the finicky child won’t refuse. Best of all, Barbara got some tasty tips for making each of these favorite foods healthier to your child:

Breakfast Cereal: It’s a major kid comfort food, and a meal that will please the pickiest of the picky. Cereal is also a great source of carbohydrates, which provide the body with needed energy. Many cereals are fortified with B vitamins, iron (which helps the blood transport oxygen throughout the body), and zinc, which boosts the body’s ability to fight infections…

* Tasty tip: Top your child’s cereal with blueberries, pieces of fresh strawberries, or another sweet colorful fruit. You’ll add a dose of phytochemicals, plant-derived nutrients that bolster the immune system, as well as fiber and vitamin C, which builds tissue.

My son is a “picky eater”. He has his favorites at will not try different food. He actually physically gags when fruit especially strawberries/red fruit is near him or shown to him. I have tried close to 100 times to get him to try fruit. He cries and almost vomits. He does eat some veggies and eats meat no problem. He is a carb lover but not over weight or chunky. He is good shape. I also give hime vitamins to make upi for the fruit. He love liquids ie milk/water, and will drink instead of eat if he had a choice. Is the gagging “picky eating”? is there a way to help him with this strong aversion?
