Big Clean Up in Holiday Season

Christmas holiday is a time for family gathering, and a good time for a big clean up as well !

House dust in our homes is the major asthma risk for children and even adults. Bedroom floors, bedding, family room floors, sofa surfaces and kitchen floors are the most seriously dusted areas. Peter S. Thorne, researcher of the University of Iowa Environmental Health Sciences Center, conducted a study and found that the strongest relationship between asthma, asthma medication and wheezing came from endotoxins in bedroom bedding and floor dust.

If you don’t have any plan of travelling or other busy schedule yet, think about asking your family to roll up their sleeves and clean up your house together. Or employ someone to do the job for a healthier new year !
