Flu Vaccination for Your Child, Or Not?

When winters come, my children usually have sneezes and running nose. What the most worries me is when they have flu or fever. Reuters posted a new study showed that “the flu killed more U.S. children than chicken pox, whooping cough, and measles combined in the 2003-2004 flu season.” To ensure that our children enjoy healthy winters, you might think about having your child vaccinated.

Many parents would worry that vaccination might do more harm than good. However, last year the federal Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommended a flu shot for all children age 6 to 23 months. What’s your decision?
