Some Stress May Be Good During Pregnancy
In today’s hectic life, it’s very difficult to avoid any stress and anxiety. As for pregnant woman, there’s a good reason to stop worrying that the stress may hurt their babies. According to Reuters Health, study shows that a bit of stress and anxiety during pregnancy may actually be beneficial due to chemicals produced by stress that facilitate on organ growth and development:
In a study of 137 healthy, pregnant women with low-risk, normal pregnancies, researchers found that those who reported moderate levels of anxiety and stress between weeks 24 and 32 of pregnancy had children who were somewhat more advanced in their mental and motor development at age 2.
The study, however, didn’t include those pregnant women who are experiencing depression or any mental problems. So keep the “normal” stress within your control limit, then there shouldn’t be any harm to your baby’s health at all. Be relaxed.
